Well, I've been looking for a Ironworker for quite some time. I've been using a friends Scotchman 120 for about 2 years and I've been itchin' for one. The company that he works for bought all the shop equipment from a place that went out a business about a year ago, he made me a smokin deal and this is what I ended up with.
Its a Kingsland that was made sometime in the 90s, I honestly don't know a whole lot about the machine, but I know how it preforms.
Here are the specs:
Shear:
-1.75 solid round bar
-1.75 solid square bar
-15" wide 5/8"
-9" wide 3/4"
-5" 1/2" angle
Punch:
-1.25" hole in 5/8"
-1.5" hole in 1/2"
Notch:
-3/8"
Its not the strongest but it's more than we'll ever need and it will speed production up in the shop tremendously. Our plasma and drill press will definitely have a big load lifted off of them and our fab jobs will look even cleaner than before.
