I'm getting new tires with the taxes I get back and I am needing some advice on which ones to get. I have $1k allotted but I would really not have to spend that much. They are going to be 31 10.50 15 and will be mostly on-road more than off but still want the aggressive look. I have narrowed it down to 3 and I was wanting some real advice or thoughts on which ones would be best to get.

I vote #2 Wrangler DuraTrac

They are really great off road but have fantastic on road manners

Duratrac is what I'm going with in the same size. Was gonna go to Discount tire, they had the best price round here, but now they don't show them on their site.

Im leaning more towards the Duratrac also. I was torn between that and the MTR-K, but I will also be driving 95% on the road.

I vote for Firestone Destination MTs. They go up to a 33' Tire.
Great tire and last. Ive had two sets and never had a problem yet,They also look awsome. I know when i buy them i spend around 700-820 for a set.

4) Mickey Thompson MTZs
These are a little bit to high since I would still have to get them mounted and balanced plus disposal of old tires would put me over my allotted amount. I do like them and I may get them later on when I have a little more money for them.

I vote for swampers the SSR 31/1050/15
They are 860 but they are well worth it. That was the last set i had
And now i have baja atz and wish i had swampers again

definatly the duratracs, they will surprise you offroad. They hold up v ery well too, very often hear of 30,000 miles plus!

I would go for a cooper discoverer stt. Ive had 3 sets and gotten great life out of all of them. They look great and work good offroad also.

Really? Only 30k miles! You just changed my mind then. Back to the BFG A/T's!

For what its worth i got 48000 miles on current set of coopers and they are on a 2500 cummins. Imagine how long they would last on something as light as a jeep.

I run dunlope mud rovers on my wrangler.First set got 50,000 miles before I took them off.Second set is at 40,000 miles and going strong. They work fairly well off road and have a good price incase you cut one and need to replace it.My tires are a bit noisy now but it's a damn jeep so turn up the radio and yell.
