Been thinking about
Toyo mt
Toyo rt
The new ridge grappler
Trail grappler
Copper stt pro
Somebody talk me into a set of good tires for the 150 I have been thinking for 2 months and I can't decide

Not sure if you have decided yet or not? I have been Running the Nitto Trail Grappler MT's for a couple years now. They are the 35's, wear is great just keep them rotated. I will purchase these again once they wear out. Depending on the week it is my DD or just sits at RDU airport, had the tires for about 3 years now and still good tread. Go to Uwharrie and Carolina Beach they do perfectly fine. Hope this helps.

I have ran the trail grapplers for years with nothing but great results.

I just put a new set of Ridge Grapplers on the wife's Jk in 35,s. They are freaky quiet, I mean street tire quiet, to be aggressive it is crazy how good they handle on highway , rode big Creek overr the weekend and they hook up great.

I've been wanting a set of Cooper ST Maxx. Good mix of decently aggressive tread and good looks.

Thanks for the feedback I've been thinking hard on a set of nittos, in your experience do they run true to size? Measured a set of 37 inch mud grapplers today and they measured just a hair over 35.5

Everyone said Nittos and Cooper. I went Cooper and have liked them so far on the F350.

I know they aren't on your list but as a reminder, for god's sake, be sure you stay away from the crap tires, BFG KO2.

Noted I know there are people that swear by bfgs but I will never own another set.

What is your intended purpose with the vehicle? Tow rig? Daily driver? Weekend warrior? Dedicated trail rig?

What are your top decision factors? Mileage? Warranty? Road noise?

Drive it maybe 50 miles a week around home grocerys/ beer runs. Besides that it sit in the yard unless I'm pulling one of my rigs.
Looking a tire that rides good, will do fine for towing and if it last 40k that's fine I only put maybe 8000 miles a year on my personal truck, drive the worktruck a lot.

I use the Cooper AT3 tire. I wanted the ST Maxx but they were nearly 50% more cost. If cost hadn't been an issue I would have gone with the ST Maxx or Pro.

Have you priced the possible tire options yet?

Have had toyo RT, toyo mt, and trail grappler.

Would recommend them in that order. I have no major complaints about any of them.

Nitto has their shit together. Besided mud grapplers I have hears nothing but good reviews on quality. @Jason W. how well did your tires balance? Everyone I have talked to with trail grapps said they took very little weight.

Stt pros are supposed to be pretty good, I drove a new Chevy 1500 with them and thought they were pretty loud, especially at low speeds.

What happened to the Fierce MTs? Thought you had those on your list at one point as well.

I have been seriouslly looking into the procom mt2's

havent heard about those nittos except what i saw on a lifted titan when stationed in tampa. those suckers lost 50 percent of their tread in eight months. ill def take a look at that new ones, as they always did look pretty aggressive

Imho Procomp has went to shit! Will not balance, wear terrible, loud, belts broken in 1 tire at under 5k miles. I have a set of Toyo Extreme AT's on my truck with just over 20k miles and am very happy with the ride and wear of this tire.
