Hello everyone,
Currently building my garage project 1989 YJ 2.5 with a homemade SOA, planning to add 35x10.50 or 35x12.50 if I can find a good use set for now. Mechanically inclined and self taught so you will hear from me often on the boards asking all the way from the dumbest question to the extremely good one. Originally from Puerto Rico but resided in the US for the past 17 years. Currently serving in Camp Lejeune as a Doc. Love to get together with the guys and wrench on the jeeps but my lack of tools leave me using my friend's garage. Look forward to meet fellow jeeper's and if anyone out there knows where I can get a driveshaft fabricated locally or have any access to metal we can put my welder to good use.
1989 YJ 2.5

Front Dana 44 from a Waggy
Rear AMC 20 from a waggy

Currently looking for front and rear bumpers options

i've got some 35x12.50x15 mtr's in jacksonville, Your more than welcome to make the 10 minute drive to come check em out. also we have a local club.. www.mrocnc.com feel free to browse around there. Lots of good people and always looking to help someone out.

i've got some tools, and a welder. I get my metal from collins welding on piney green road. There is a driveshaft place out 258. I'll have to get directions but he is suppose to be pretty cheap.

Thank you for the awesome replies guys, I did the driveshaft without welding at all. Since I replace the rear axle in my jeep when I mounted it this past weekend I altered the angle so it goes perfectly to the driveshaft. I am working on the front suspension right now and I am running into aa couple of bumps. If anyone wants I can try to post some pictures for some suggestions or you can always feel free to swing by and take a look at it with me this coming weekend. Right now I have a d44 from an 84 waggy in it and need to figure out how to hook up the vacuum lines in it and how to hook up the steering. Next will be the brakes oddisey. I have to replace the brake lines, so if you know much about brakes let me know. Talk to you guys soon. Thank you for the warm welcome.

i have the same front axle, i ditched the cad vacuum. Its still the 2 piece short side axle but i took out the vacuum and welded the slide into the locked position but it still spins. if that makes any since. I then welded up the whole where the vacuum can went. Whats up with the brakes? There is a place right down the street from you for your lines, Carolina tubes n' hoses. they are down the street from the mud bogs. They did my 33" lines for 45 bucks. Let me know whats up and i'll swing by and give ya any help i might be able to lend. Did you check out mrocnc.com. They are always looking for more people. Let me know about those tires.
