has to be inspected b4 they will give you a tag. unless you tag office is not doing it right. then that will miss you up next year. or get you a ticket if you get pulled over without it. if it fails then you spend $250 trying to fix and it still fails, keep all paper work and go to dmw get a repair wavier good for one year. must go in that order fail, 250 repair, fail, then dmv. if you don't go in that order you have to start over. or get a farm tag.
the truck was due for an inspection when i traded for it thus i have to get it to pass before they will hand over a tag....
on the other hand when i got my dodge it wasnt due for one till like 8 months later and they gave me a tag for it but they did just change the law for that i do believe
new law is if its been more than two months it has to be inspected again (im an inspecter in high point). last year and the year before was the time to buy a car. some of my customers went two years without inspecting their cars just because the dmv was so f'ed up they had no idea what was going on.
Well I guess after the first of the year she is going to the shop (friends house) to get parts and sensors replaced and scanned so I can get my tag I wanna drive her so bad
Well as of today she passed inspection after a computer rebuild and flash drove down to bessemer city and back to pick up a trans drove great a front end alignment is on the list for next month!
