Welcome to the board and welcome to the consistant drain on your future finances! Everyone will tell you different thing you need first. With the lift you've got, I vote for sliders to protect your rocker panels for rock crawling or save your money for everything that will break while mudding. (Not that you won't break it rock crawling.)

step one...dont go muddin' (just my personal opinion)

seriously, sliders are first and foremost on an xj. one good whack on the rocker and the doors will never open or shut again.

gas tank skid would probably be second, or maybe an HD tie rod.

good choice for a trail rig. You can't beat them.

sliders first even a hard mud bank will ruin your doors. dont forget bumpers with tow points .something to hook to is mandantory for nOObs and mudders .then just wait for the rest of it to break and upgrade from their i think working on your rig is just as much fun as wheelin em. esp. if u have good wrenchin buddys.
