Hi my name is Jonathan and I just bought a 1980 Jeep J-10. Was wondering if anyone has some ideas on what I can do to it. It is still under construction and could use all the ideas I can get. Look forward to getting to know some of you. Cheap ideas, lol.
 
What do you want to do with it? Wheel the hell out of it? Daily driver? In between?

Hi Jonathan and welcome to NC4X4!

You profile says it is under construction, but it will be stock, so not sure what you are wanting as far as info.
A J-10 can be as mild or wild as you want it to be. Stock could be as it came from the factory in 1980, to bolting on anything that ever come out in a J-10. With the number of years they were produced, a lot can be done to near bullet proof, to just a dependable DD.

Give us some more details, pictures, wants and so on.

The best roll cage would be to have one custom built for you. None off the bolt in deals are really worth the effort.

Read through some build threads, check out some other rides, find someone's work you like and send them a message about doing similar for you.

Or if you have the skills, pick up some DOM tube, a bender and a welder.
 
Yep as soon as you get one of them orange/red diamonds by your name, assuming you are of legal drinking age
