Hello everyone, just heard about this site from a friend and decided to come check it out. I just got into offroading recently as a few of my friends bought jeeps and I went out in the woods with them a few times and had a blast! Plus my girlfriend likes this much more than going to the drag strip with me, so it gives us something to do together that we both enjoy and involves a vehicle, which I thought would never happen. Anyway, I'm looking forward to meeting some more offroaders and learn of some new places to ride. I live about 30 min from Uwharrie and have been out there about 4 times in the last 2 months. It's still fun, but I would like to check out some new places. The ride is a 91 Cherokee with a pieced together 5in lift. It's nothing crazy, but it's a start. See ya around!

Hey, good to have you I see you around alot (doors are always off right?) I am hoping to ride soon PM me and may be we can go ride here is a OLD pic of my junk, If you see me in town, pull me over and say hello!! Those doors are not always on it, but there is not many like it in albemarle

Yeah, that's me :D. I modified the door hinges to slide off and on like a wrangler so it only takes a few minutes to take them off or put them on. I have a side view mirror that clips to the exposed door hinge when the doors are off. I wasnt sure how legal it was with no side view mirrors, so I added that. I will be going back out to uwharrie soon to scout out some campsites for a trip I'm getting together for mid november. Do you have to pay to use campsites, or is it first come first serve? Where would be a good place to get that info?
