There has to be some fans in here. Who saw them Hokies beat Wake Forest yesterday and is having a good day with their Fantasy Football app? Or had a player on the bench that scored more than their staters and pulled for Alabam like a weirdo.

What do we have?

You’ll rarely hear me shit talk sports...every dog has their day. Plus, I’m not playing, so it’s not like I did anything but sit there in my boxers, drink bourbon and eat Doritos off my gut. But I’m a Vol, and they haven’t had anything to brag about in 10 years anyway. I will shit talk the logic (or lack thereof) behind the college football playoff committee rankings. Bring back the BCS with a playoff of 8 teams. Professional sports I stopped following when it started being used as a platform like I cared what was being said, shut up and entertain me.
 
My boss is an NCSU alum. He hasnt spoken this morning...
 
Had to listen talk to 2 asshats at lunch talk about what "we" did in the game yesterday. Its a good thing they had remotes because neither looked like they could walk to the tv without being outta breath. Cant stand listening to people talk like theyre involved.
 
The people talking the "we" stuff, unless you're getting paid for it, or your kid or something is on the team and you have a say in whatsup, like @sawdoff said, you're armchairing that shit.

And IMO APP state is underrated, they've been hot for a couple years now.

Dolphins will have it next year with draft picks, with the skins right behind them. I just hope they don't blow it on a RG3 thing again. I'm tired of losing lol hell pick up Tyrod or any backup and make that your starter. It's better than what they've got and Smith's leg was Thiesman bad. I wonder if he'll truly come back or not.

That’s something I’ll shit talk too, I guess. Mid-majors wanting to play with the big boys...the UCF’s and Boise States of the world. Like I said previously, every dog has their day, in a one game bowl or one off conference pairing...I think anyone can beat anyone...but playing against top level talent week in, week out...how will that mid-major fare. I’ll always take a middle of the conference power 5 team over a top tier mid-major. But I don’t blame those great mid-major schools, I’d imagine it would be significantly more financially beneficial to be a big fish in a little pond and crack the top 25 than to be a cellar team in the power 5.

That said, I’d love nothing more than to see the playoff expanded to 8 teams, 5 spots go to power 5 conference champs...3 wild card spots for either best conference runner ups and/or top mid-majors. FCS has been running and expanding a playoff bracket for 30-40 years now, no idea why FBS wouldn’t adopt it other than ‘tradition’ and fear of injury.

I second the 8 team playoffs With conference winners. The rankings are a shit show. I’d also like to see the refs be held accountable. I’m not saying light the torches and get the pitchforks, but a weekly press conference would be nice. Have them talk about why they did or did not make a certain call, and own up to a shitty call. They can ruin a game/season and nothing happens other than guys like me get to bitch and proclaim I can do better. Put a face on them.

I wonder what team, if any, will pick up kaepernick. He’s got a workout on Saturday for any team that wants to watch. I’d imagine every team will send someone to cover their ass, but he won’t get picked up.

He's already bitching that the league wouldn't move it back a week, for everyone to have time to prepare...bruh, everyone has had 3 years to prepare. So wait for the 'It's just a PR stunt by the NFL' tweets.

I think that dude would be toxic for a locker room. He’d be a huge distraction if a team was desperate enough to sign him. Then , if you cut him, he’ll throw the race card again along with all of his worshippers.
