My sister has a 2005 Pathfinder that was running really rough and now will not start. I believe its the Crank Position Sensor.

Any one know where I can locate it on the truck? Or have a site with good info on it? Any info on testing one?

is it throwing a code?

CPS will throw a CEL light, but other sensors, such as knock sensor, only throw a ghost code (no CEL light) and will affect how the vehicle will idle and run.

rockauto or courtesyparts.com would be a good place to get a replacement if and when you determine the problem.

i think there is a tsb on those. i think you need to replace the cam and crank sensors at the same time.

she had it towed to the Dealer, It was the Intelligent Power Distribution Module, AKA fuse panel.

$500 later and its supposed to be fixed.
