i just started building a 84 datsun 720,i wanted to know if anyone has used these rear ends?i am gonna use a toyota frontend and i should probaly go with a toyota rear shouldent i.also im useing a samurai transfer case,can that handle 38s with reduction kit?thanks for the imput and advice

you are going to want to swap the rear if you are running 38s. lack of gearing options for that axle are also going to limit you with 38s.

if you had a H233B then you might be okay...depending on driving style.
