anyone running them on a tow rig I'm lookin at putting a set on my cummins next month as its due for tires.

I have a set on the excursion. They have about 15k on them and still look new...

Ran them in a 315 on my F250. @Brownsxj bought it and has probably around 40k on them by now if not more.
Just got a set in 285/70/17 on my 4Runner.

Great dual purpose tire, they wear well, have always balanced out well and are relatively quiet for an MT.

If you want people to question whether or not you're an illiterate who watches too much reality TV and gets tattoos to match their Affliction t-shirts, there's no faster way than by buying a set of low-profile Nitto Trail Grapplers. Match them up with some Fuel 22s for maximum effect.

Also, Snappy is a fawking liar.

But that's okay. It's called self-deception, and we're all guilty of it. I thought my Nitto ATs (uh... Tar and Chip Grapplers??) were wearing awesome, until I went to get them rotated after about 15k and found that I'd burned 4/32s off the rears and 2/32s off the fronts. In the end, I think I got about 40-45k out of them. Not bad for a truck that usually weighs 13k, but not bulletproof, either.

I would not expect better mileage from a tire with larger tread voids, and I would definitely expect a big MT to be a fish-tailing bitch up to roughly 70mph on wet roads with that diesel turning them.

I think that's what @drkelly has on his 01 CTD ram 2500

Yep, I've got Nitto Terra Grapplers on my 2001 Dodge Ram CTD. I bought them used about 3-4 years ago from XJFreakHO off this board. Mine are 285/75-16 size. I only drive the truck about 1 day per week so they don’t get many miles put on them. I’m not sure how many miles I’ve put on them, but they seem to be holding up pretty well. They were probably 75-85% tread when I bought them and vary between about 40-60% now.

The previous set of tires were a set of BFG AT’s I bought new in the same size. They were down to the wear bars and wouldn’t pass inspection after only about 26-28k miles. My truck is stock and I drive it like an old man too. I was very disappointed in those tires, and would never buy them again.
