Before I call up Verizon, I want to be prepared... Seems mine and my wife's phone are not getting but 1 bar inside the house and are missing calls and texts. We have Verizon. Only moved about 1.5 miles up the road from where we lived and had perfect reception there. Also, 4g is a no go at the new house....Is there anything verizon will/can do? I am not paying $250 for a network extender.

Verizon does not pick up at our house either. My sister found out the hard way.. and terrible customer service... Hope you have better luck!

Something must have changed at AT&T. For the past several days, I haven't been getting service, much, in my house. Used to be I could move a few feet,& get a signal. Now it's worse!
What's weird, is sometimes I can hang up & try again, without moving, & get signal. Or, if I get a call, it usually works ok, as long as I don't get close to a Lamp!???!! My Boss, & most others, tell me to get Verizon!
NOW, You-all Scaring me:eek:

We talked them down to 150 on our Verizon extender. Service at our house is bad but it is good every where else. We live in the boonies.

wow, so you did have to pay for it??? thats crazy....I live smack dab in the middle of high point...I should have no problem. Im gonna call them up tonight.

happens at my house. verizon sent out a crew, said it was a marginal coverage area. offered nothing. old flip phones worked great, new smartphones suck. finally verizon let us out of our contract.

Yeah we had to pay. But nothing picks up where we live. I had sprint and I wouldn't go back if it was free, complete junk. Their network extender even sucked.

My (limited, had one for less than 18 months) experience is this...started with an iphone 4s from my old employer, had 3g and was through AT&T. Never had any issues anywhere this side of the Mississippi, except for China Grove...seriously. Started my new job, got an iphone 5 with 4g and it's through Verizon...I seem to only have coverage in about 75% areas I travel. Being a newbie to cell phones, all I cared about was making/receiving calls/texts...I could do that through AT&T with no problem...everyone told me verizon was better...hasn't been my experience to this point.
