no fire on a xj

there is no fire to the coil or pligs but there is power om the fuse anyone know what it might be

1. year
2.when the symptom started and where there any signs before this happened

done checked all the wires. its a 91 and it started after we put in the motor

X2 check the crank sensor, when you cranking it look at the RPM Gauge if the hands not moving its the crank sensor. If its moving check the cam sensor.

check to see if you have injector pulse if not then it is the crank sensor is suspect . be sure to check all grounds to engine .

x3 on the crank sensor, just had that happen to me other day.. don't forget to take it out before you pull the old motor.. easy to break, and won't notice til you're done.
