After being quite unhappy with my carb at my Tellico outing I decided it was time for a change. I got lucky in my search and found this right after it was advertised. My 454 in my K5 will soon be wearing a MPFI unit :huggy:
This came off a Scarab boat with a 502. It's a direct bolt on and go. I just need to get a wiring diagram to figure out where 4 or 5 wires go and I will be ready to do the swap. I'm still thinking of what I want to replace the Mercruiser sticker with :bling:

Something I have never seen before. Me, I would leave it just the way it is, a good conversation peice! I had the same problems at Tellico with my carb, so, I made a change too. To Propane. Simple, easy, no wires, and not too bad on the pocket. Look forward to see how this works out for you.

I had thought very hard about the propane switch. Went so far as to have all the parts lined up ready to buy but I never convinced myself that I would make this a 100% trail rig. And then I also had thoughts of parting the truck and building a street car. Now, if I ever decide to build my car I have a nive fuel injected big block to put in it :)

Fawkin cool!

I'd leave the sticker juuust like it is.. ;)
