No more smiling at the DMV

Wonder what will happen with a beard. I seem to go the opposite of the previous photo everytime a new Drivers License made. If the old photo has a beard - the next one will be without....

there is no way to tell a guy he has to shave his beard. Some of these guys have been growing them over 30 years (my dad) I would love to be in the room if they told him he had to shave his beard.

if you read it said you can disbute it.
 
yes, in fact you can even file to get one w/o a picture at all.

The idea of having people's picture w/o their glasses is rediculous; I mean I understand why, but they are totally missing the point.
If you have to wear glasses to see at the DMV, chances are pretty good you'll be waering them when you commit a crime and get caught on tape... and that's what they want to match to!
 
I had one license where I was looking to the right, like someone had distracted me

The DMV photog never told me to look at the camera, so I didn't. Got a few questions on that one when I got pulled over, merely explained, " They never told me to look at the camera. " all was well.

Though I did have some douche of a "security" goon at a bar once ask for my ID, and told me I couldn't come in because the guy in the photo had a beard, and I didn't...... at the time....., told me legally I had to go get my ID renewed. Gee, the trooper who pulled me a few days before had no problem making the ID OR writing the ticket.

My current licencse, I look like a serial killer, second day back to work after 8 weeks off for cancer treatment, I was beat, and very annoyed I had to do this NOW, $38 for a really bad freakin picture

I bet they wouldnt tell a girl to shave her beard




In the past, i have always tried to get away with making ridiculous faces for the pictures. The key is to do it the whole time you are in the DMV, then they feel bad and don't mention it.
