:confused:Ok guys, heres the deal, I have a 96 cherokee sport, 6 cyl auto that I bought not running. I replaced the fuel pump because thats what the old owner said might be wrong with it. Then I found out that the jeep has no spark, I replaced the Crank position sensor, still no spark or fuel. It turns over strong, but it wont get spark and I can't hear the fuel pump turning on. When the key is turned to the on position, the check engine light does not come on either. Any help would be great. Thanks guys.

there is an ASD (automatic shut down relay) that shuts off fuel and spark, check the relay or replace it or jump it (you need to know what your doing before jumping relays tho) The relay is in the relay box

If not that i would start by checking for power at the fuel pump relay, and then if theres 12 volts at the coil of not

Don't continue to throw parts at it, and the computer is prolly the most unlikely problem(thats the first thing noobs change:flipoff2:)

What ever happened to diagnostics?????

Still Nothing?????

Still nothing, replaced the CPS sensor, cam sensor, coil, Ignition switch, and jumped the ASD Relay and then replaced it, still no spark or fuel????????????? Someone who is good at this stuff send me a phone number so I can talk to you directly and get it figured out. Thanks alot guys.

How about checking for power at the fuel pump relay? Is there 12 volts at the coil?? just because you changed the coil doesn't mean its not the coil (same with fuel pump), i get defective electronic parts ALL the time. Same with all those sensors, you might have replaced a good sensor with a bad one (where did u get the parts?) That is why replacing stuff doesn't work, when you replace parts that aren't bad you can introduce a whole new set of problems on top of the old problem.

If still no power at fuel pump or coil start checking computer inputs(neutral switch, ignition, power feeds) Then the grounds need to be checked with a voltage drop test (not just continuety)

If you jumped the ASD relay why did you replace it? Was it faulty?
