Anyone used a non-slip concrete coating that they would recommend?

I am looking for something durable, as I need something for a concrete car parking area under a house at the beach. The concrete area doubles as parking and where the hose is to wash off the sand after a day on the beach. The concrete is not 100% level so there is some very shallow pooling and then those pools grow algae that becomes very slippery.

Open to any ideas.

X2 on the epoxy with sand. Need more information on how "bad" the existing slab is.

Just sand, no adhesive or coating needed.. just lay it on the concrete about 1” thick and the pooling should go away, and add plenty of traction.. you are at the beach anyway right?

Edit: oh wait you want to wash the sand off stuff. Nevermind.

Call me when you have a moment.

It is really not bad at all no cracks, no flakes, just some slight low spots, less than a 1/4", but circumference is enough to have to water just pool there, and since it is so shaded it takes a day or two at least to evaporate, so in that time algae grows.

I would scarify it with a grinder of some sort. Without seeming too pessimistic, odds are good you have enough moisture coming up through the slab that anything you put down will peel up in a year or two.....then you have to grind it all of and start again.
