Is anyone running the NWF cable shift set up on a 300?

Im trying to chase down a shift adjustment issue and I'm starting to suspect they either sent me the wrong kit or the cables are not the right length for whatever reason. Regardless of adjustment I can't get both high and low on either axle. If I spool them all the way out and run both adjusters long I can get into low, but not back to high. When I adjust it back enough to get high I can't "reach" low.

So...anyone running one that can grab some measurements for me?

Btw I'm running the "reverse" kit if it matters (though honestly I assume most everyone is as well... Just don't kow where you'd package those long DOM tubular stand offs)

I'm running these exact cables and I'll try to grab some measurements tonight. Out of curiosity, do you have the black or grey cables? Ever had one break? IIRC mine are both set close to center for adjustment and seem to shift fine. I always seem to fight the front output, but I think that's more gear bind than anything.

Thanks guys.

I am now chasing another suspect...but Id still like to eliminate cable length.

I cant get into high range on either output even manually...

cable length is irrelevant. cable working movement length should be the only relevant issue. Coming from NWF, all of their cables are pretty much the same working movement length. I suspect you have other issues other than your cables. Unless your cables are replacements from somewhere other than NWF.

Maybe a shift rail or detent ball issue causing binding?

I have the same cable shifters and have never been able to get the front into high range. Rear goes in fine, i've tried adjusting them but it didn't seem to help.

I have the NWF cable shifters and never had an issue getting my front into high range.

My only issue I've ever had was sometimes the d300 would pop into neutral under load, which was not a cable issue but a detent ball issue

On both sides (shifter & d300), I have 1.875" from the bracket to the end of the crimp (measuring to the middle of the cable).
Hopefully that makes sense....

FYI - if you have their older black cables, they have upgraded HD grey cables that I've emailed them about & they have replaced.
Granted, I've broken about 5 of the cables for the front output.

Me too. My auto trans keeps the gears turning just a bit in the t case so I am always fighting that when shifting.

Tcase is freshly gone through (not by me) lol)
Not a tcase issue I don't think.
currently on the jack stands trans in neutral and spinning tires by hand so shouldn't be any binding issues.....

Had about 30 minutes today to screw with it still no progress.

I'm not pleased with the cable set up...but I'm a picky bastid...but I don't think that's the issue now.
