Been lurking here for a while and finally mustered up the courage to post a pic of the truck. I know some of you will hate the snorkel, the fact that its a nissan, the big lights, but hey, its all for the fun of it right? And before you yell too much just know that RedX helped me out installing a couple of things :) Enjoy the poser pics.

All that is missing is a solid front, which when RedX does his, i can see what he farks up and I will make sure *not* to do what he did.

Hey, be proud you got something capable. I think it looks good. Its your rig, you do what you want to it. Not being extremely lifted a snokle can be practical.

Grab a winch when you see one on sale!!

I like it! Besides you wheel it! Most X's I've seen have only seen the mud that developes on the side of the road once and a while. Also you have a true suspension lift. I've seen some with 3" body lifts.

Congrats on your build.

I got in a wreck with an xterra once, there is a white one in Jamestown that did the solid front axle swap.

I think I recognize that Xterra..... ;)

Yeah the whie SAS Xterra joined us at URE a while back, as did Richard in his SAS Frontier. Both are using the Calmini coilover SAS package. Seems to work very well.....Just don't know if it's the route I will go.....

Welcome here Richard....

what happened in the accident with the Xterra?
who got the most damage?

I did, I totaled my Civic, The guy driving didnt go when the light was green at a 3 way stop, and i was turning right, and of course i was looking right to make sure the car would stop, and i saw the xterra move forward so I went and rear ended him..the guy was on his cell phone, but it was mostly my fault. all it did for him was bend his trailer hitch, cracked both my radiators, fans, headlights, ripped the front bumper off bent up the hood, broke off the bumper mounts on the frame..all under 10 miles an hour..thats what happens when your clutch catches quick and you really get momentem fast.

I like that front bumper. Makes it look pretty diesal.

What about the bumper makes the vehicle look like a diesel?

Diesel in this particular instance most likely means "mean/beefy/burly/badass/looks way cooler than a stock Xterra." But that's just me guessing.

Diesal is how we learnt to speel in hie skool.

So "diesel" means tough.. I must be getting old. But, I can kinda see where it comes from...

No, no, no.

Diesel was a wimpy metal band in the early 80s. Think the Dutch version of Winger.

Nice Nissan. I live in Greensboro and drive a 02 crew cab frontier stock with lights. Its always good to see a rugged nissan. I decided to leave my frontier alone though and start a blazer project so I wont tear up my dd.

Looks good man. It's always cool to see something different.
