3DCrawler's son, Devin has been working for parts, Dad has got him to a point of a good start.
87 Toyota truck, soon to be a truggy
He is without an engine as of now, plans are to go with a newer model engine with fuel injection.
He has the wheels, and weld on bead locks, with anti coning rings, no tires as of now except rollers
He has a box full of trail gear stuff to do the solid axle swap, as well as HD springs Front and rear.
Axles are together ready to implant with all the good stuff. Longfields, disc brakes, sixshooter knuckles, Mud pro diff guards
He has the t-cases to make a doubler, plans include a 4:1 in one case, he also has the 5 speed tranny, not sure yet if he will use it or not.
He also has about 200 feet of tubing for a cage.
He also has a warn winch and recovery gear

For a 16 year old, to have this kinda start, a new shop to work in, and a dad to help out, he is a lucky guy!

Here's some pics, sorry, are from my cell phone

That is what it is all about! I am jealous as I was 0-4 on getting a son :shaking: Great start to a cool build.

U know that means 2 times as much broke parts to fix. Good looking build.
True maybe, but the way you build stuff(Davids) and the way he builds stuff, I don't forsee too many issues out of either

Ain't a rule anywhere that says you can't do the same thing with a daughter! You just have to figure a way so that they don't break a nail! LOL

Update:

This is no longer Devins Truck. He bought a really well built buggy from a friend and now this build gets handed down to his younger brother Dalton.
Well if you have not put it together, and ever wondered, Now you have it. David, Devin, and Dalton
The three D's of 3DCRAWLER

The truck made a journey down to RIDES of Conover

HEre's the outcome! Great job guys!
