Glenwood is a small community just outside of Marion NC. Very close to The Flats. Many Rock Corps Members will be riding, driving and tire stacking in the parade! What started out as a pretty small parade, has really got bigger each year we have rode in it. They really like the rigs, and are really excited when we climb on top of one another in our rigs. You don't have to have a big built rig, you don't even have to tire stack, just letting you know it is an option. Clean em up, decorate if you want, and come have fun. Oh and bring candy, they love candy!
The date is the Saturday after Thanksgiving. We can meet at The flats(tow rig parking) and caravan over to Glenwood, it's not far.Meet at The Flats @ 2:00, and ride over. Parade actually starts at 3:30
For the rigs that are not street legal, I am going to check into a escort from the Sheriffs Dept to keep us legal.
Also, the Local Fire Dept will have a dinner, I think the cost is $6, a fund raiser for them.
Supper will be chili, cornbread, slaw, and homemade desserts
***UPDATE***
We will have an escort from the Sheriffs Dept. Be READY to move out at 2:00
This is for any and all NON STREET LEGAL RIGS!

Great pics. Hate I missed the fun!

Who's 715 is that? It looks like one my buddy had a while back, only painted differently. Did it have a SBC in it? When he sold it there was a 350 in it that was on its way out and he threw in a 327 that I gave him on the sale.

It belongs to Tony Woody, He hasnt had it long. He sais it was a 350 but hard to tell unless you look at the block numbers. Very well could be a 327.

The guy that bought it off my buddy had it for sale out in Ednyville off and on for some time. The cage and front fender cut looks identical.

The 350 had a tick to it and would blow some blue some at 5500 rpms! But it still ran great. My old 327 had the camel humps on it, wish I still had it.

I would bet some broken parts its the same one. Either way I like those old rigs. Always dreamed of one built w a Cummins and a bobbed bed.
