Got some ground that needs seeding...do y'all think it's getting good time to put some seed out (contractor mix), or wait a few more weeks? Not a nice yard, just some areas around the shop and pond.

I don't know when to put it down but the place on lemon springs Rd had the best stuff around for contractor blend

The Ryegrass I sowed in Nov/Dec has really sprouted in the last 2 weeks and is growing like crazy now. I thought it had washed away w a lot of the straw but it has surprised me how thick it is now

As soon as the ground at my place will support the light tractor work I need to do I'm having at it.

The ground temps have been warm enough here to geminate seed, so I'm guessing the same down your way.

Most of the contractors mixes are a fescue blend...best germination temps are generally 50-70. I put some out yesterday...

Got seed in the dirt last Friday.....light rain Sunday and again today and tomorrow is great.....lookimg for some green next week....
