I have a newer style 205 t-case, w/a double cardingan(cv style) front shaft. What upgrades are available for these? This on is o.e. original from 1986, and i want to replace it before it goes out. I know there is an upgrade to a regular style u-joint but that is about as far as i've got.
 
i have the older racetrack eight pattern,also have a 32 spline front output, twin stick rails, and the 1410 yokes for it,(you wont break that.)
 
I'm thinking that should be the four bolt flange style with the 32 spline shaft. Not much upgrading to do to that other than maybe running a bigger double C/V joint on it. What kind of upgrade are you looking to do? I highly doubt you want to step down to a single universal at that connection.
 
It is a 32 spline outout w/ a (cv) double cardan front shaft. I was just wondering if there was something better than what i've got, I have this thing about fixing and improve things before i break them.
