alright heres the thing this is for a k5 with a manual. t-case we got i guess fits an auto? (my guess) since its a smaller diameter hole for the output shaft of the trans. we have the t-case that came out. how do you make the "new" one fit

well, it if was 1986 or earlier, it would be a direct fit. But if it is newer than 1986, you could have originally had a np241 or 208 all the way up to 1988 when it was just 241s. If I remember correctly, you need a different input shaft because it would be longer for the manual transmission. And it has a different adapter, because the crossmember on the manual is like 2 inches forward of the auto. Probably not worth trying to use, but I am not 100% sure. you can look on carolinak5.com I am sure one of them might have talked about this
