I'm looking for a 241 with a 23 spline input and the 6 pinion planetary to put behind an ax-15 in an xj. I did some research on this a while ago but am unable to find it now. I think I'm looking for a Dodge 1500 transfer case. Can any of you confirm the years and model trucks I'd find this case in the pull a part?
 
Picked up a 241D from the pull a part and it has a 23 spline input. It matches up to my ax-15 perfect.
 
Dodge trucks with the NV4500 could have either a 23 or 29 spline t-case interface and the 6 bolt round pattern.
 
Driver drop came out of a 1500 with an auto.

 
The chevy 241's have a six roller and I think they'll interchange,The only thing to watch is the gear pitch changed around 93 or so.

I know the 360 with NV4500 3/4 tons will have a 23 spline.
I'm pretty sure only the autos were 23 spline.The getrags and 4500's are 29 spline unless its a Chevy and its 32 spline.

my dad has a 4500 that came out of a 93 gas truck and it is 23 spline. it came with a passenger side drop 241 with a fixed rear yoke. I took a 1990 chevy psd 241 input gear, put it in the dodge case and I am putting it behind the 4l60e in my yj, it all bolts up and the dodge case is clocked perfectly flat bolted to the chevy trans. both the chevy and dodge cases had 6 roller planetaries.

I bought a wrecked 94 2500 for a swap in my old YJ. It was 360 and NV4500 with a 23 spline 241 on it. The 241 was busted, so I ran a 231 behind the trans. That's why I said what I did about the 360. I assume the cummins ones and V10 had a 29 spline from Dodge.
 
I'd love to find a busted dodge 241 for donor parts for the black box I want to get to replace the 203. If I can get a fixed yoke for this one I'll run it as is behind the 5 speed xj I'm working on. I'd imagine finding the donor parts in a pull a part would be scarce.

I know you can buy sye kits for 241s.

now that I have had these cases apart I don't think you could make the factory fixed yoke work on a dsd case without alot of machine work. mostly due to the shift rail locations. and I pretty sure they only had fixed yokes on psd cases.

Mostly looking for 23 spline input and planetary gear set from a dodge 241 to build a NWF eco box. Researching a lot atm.

NWF Eco Box Billet Planetary Doubler Case Would like to put that in ghost and remove the 203 and build the new xj more as a go fast rig with maybe a dodge 241. Still need a rear for the new xj and leaning towards a van 60.
