NP435 to D300?

Anyone bought the adapter and done this? Is it worth it? I have an np205 already bolted to the 435, but I really want to keep the weight down and want the ability for 4:1 and to clock it flat. It's all going in a 75 CJ5 with an 5.0 HO and d44's.

Been awhile but we put a novak adapter on the back of my buddys 435. Its in a jeep cj7.

by the time you buy the adapter, the d300,the 4:1 and upgraded outputs, you will have spent enough to buy an atlas

D300's with 4:1's already in them come and go for as low as $650, so I'm not worried about that.
