I am looking to replace the nylon washers for the fuel lines on my plastic fuel cell. I have never looked for that type of washer before. Anyone know a good place to start? Washer probably has a 3/4" hole and is maybe 1.25" overall.

Could a metal washer be used instead? I have also thought about using a gasoline proof rtv (if there is such a thing) as leak insurance. Any thoughts?

I'm not sure of any local places, but summit racing and jegs will have them, they're called bulkhead fitting sealing washes, just order the size that matches your fitting. Like -8, -10, etc.

I figured those locations would have them, but without having the correct verbage it may be difficult. I always try to support local when I can, but its also not a 1/4-20 bolt that people keep in stock.

Found them at Grainger. They are on order and will arrive on Friday. Same prices as I found at the other locations listed above, but no freight. Package of 5 is less than $6.
