OBD 1 question, not sure where this goes?

Just bought a 94 camry. Of course the day after I bought it the check engine light has come one.

On my old cherokee, I could turn the ignition on and off 3 times and it would flash a code. Any such luck as this on a camry?

EGR VALVE MALFUNCTION--EXHAUST GAS TEMPEATURE BELOW SPEC. FOR EGR CONTROL

--EGR SYSTEM

--EGR GAS TEMPERATURE SENSOR/CIRCUIT

Ok, what next? Thanks if you can help me.

most likly carbon buildup in inlet of egr valve or head. make sure it's pretty clean.
