[Oct 11, 2013] Rock Corps 4X4 and The Flats Annual Toy ride (Marion NC)

If im not mistaken last time i was there the trail beside easy street , think its trail #2 had some very large washed out ruts from all that rain we had that swallowed up my 35s , are they still there ? it was kinda wet so i stayed away from those little holes .

good looking map, but believe it is missing the legend to tell what the colors mean
One of the good things about the flats is you can pretty much tell what your getting into before you ever turn onto the trail.
Ol stumpy and larual ln. Are about the only trails that will surprise you at the end.
I don't know how larual ln is but the last time I done it wet was nasty requiring tire and horsepower!

You should have no problem sticking to the green stuff, and the playgrounds. I was there for the last open ride in June/July and the trails looked pretty good, best I can remember. As long as they didn't get destroyed by all the big powered ECORS rigs, you should be fine haha.

What kind of new trails are there?

We fixed those yesterday

Mostly for built rigs. Tank trap has a new exit. A new rock obstacle beside The Wall. And above the wall to the right is a new hill climb with some pretty big holes in it. And a new short hill climb beside the parking lot obstacle. All of them should be fun.

Me and my father in law are going to b there. Going to b our first time there hopefully we can hook up with some people that have been before to ride along with so we don't get into anything we shouldn't. We both have tjs on 35s locked front and rear will we b able to do most of the trails

I just took a look at the weather forecast for this weekend. It is going to be PERFECT. No rain. highs in the low 70's, lows in 50's
Perfect riding, perfect camping, great for a camp fire. Fantastic trails, great people, doing some good for some less fortunate.
Tell me, what more could you ask for?

I missed perfect weather and a great trip to Golden Mtn. Looking forward to this weekend. Won't get to wheel like I want but at least I will be there.

Bring your Jeep. I will ride you around in it. Put your neck brace on or your back brace and lets do this:D

I'm bringing the Jeep. After gate duty I can at least ride the main trail. Maybe a little light wheeling.

Most yes, but remember, if not sure, take the time to walk it first.
