3rd Annual Fall Uwharrie OHV Jamboree
October 18, 2014

Mission Statement: “Bringing all Uwharrie off-highway vehicle (OHV) users together to aid in recruiting volunteers and to raise awareness to ‘TREAD Lightly!’ So that the Uwharrie National Forest OHV Trail System can develop and be maintained”

The Uwharrie OHV Jamboree is in its third year. The Jamboree focuses on the off-road: Jeep, 4WD, Dirt Bike, ATV and ROV (Recreational Off-Highway Vehicle)/Side by Side crowd in Central North Carolina. The Jamboree is located in the Eldorado community of Montgomery County, across the street from the Eldorado Outpost on NC Highway 109, 10 miles North of Troy.

This event is promoted by Uwharrie Off-Road Training Center, JAARS-Partners in Bible Translation and Southern Four Wheel Drive Association.

This year’s events will include:
Test drive/ride your favorite off-road vehicles on the EXPANDED ‘Off-Road Test Track”. This is the perfect opportunity to test drive a new ATV/UTV. And much more!

4WD rides provided and sponsored by JAARS “The JAARS 4WD rides are something you do not want to miss!” They will take place on a 200 Acre piece of private property specifically designed for Off-Road Driver Instruction located just a half a mile away. More will be added from JAARS this fall! “UORTC uses this trail system for their 4WD-101 and 202 classes!” 4WD Club Booth’s, USFS Booth, TREAD Lightly! Booth and RTI Ramp.

Uwharrie Off-Road Training Center will be bringing back their ‘4WD Coach & Drive’. 20 minutes of off-road driver coaching for $20. You will also receive a $20 gift certificate to an up-coming 4WD-101 class.
There will be a TREAD Lightly! Presentation, music and lots of food.

This is a family event and no alcohol is allowed. No public ATVs/UTVs allowed on grounds. Admission is FREE. The gates will open at 9 AM. For more information call (336) 906-1644 or e-mail us at scott@uortc.com

Thank you for posting on another forum!! Can you help me with street crossing again?
This is the same weekend as a URE work weekend?? Can we combine them to make something BIG!!! I will have raffle prizes for those that sign-up on the USFS volunteer email list.
 
We have already moved the workday to the 25th of October. As most people that volunteer will be at your place. Yes I will do road guard again for you.

The extended weather forecast is looking great for October 18th!
I want to thank Superwinch for the Tiger Shark Winch that will be used to promote volunteer efforts on the USFS OHV trails at Uwharrie.
Vendors and Dealers: Please be setup and ready to go by 8 AM October 18th. If you would like to camp and/or setup Friday you are welcome to.

Reminder. Camping is only available on the property of UORTC for volunteers and clubs! There are only 7 established Fire rings for use, no fire rings may be built and no ground fires outside of these 7 established rings. Thank you!
 
Same here! Meet & Saw a Lot of folks today. Must of had around 75 people sign up the Forest Volunteer E-Mail list, so they could have the chance to win that new Tiger Shark winch, donated by Superwinch!
Plus we picked up 5 more donated items that were drawn on! I think Scott, posted the Winners on Face Book.

Scott put on a great event. First time for me to attend something like that. I've never seen so many cool rigs in one place and so many friendly folks.
