[Oct 30, 2015] Rock Corps 4X4 INC Annual Toy run/Autism open ride (Marion NC)

We got a bunch of the trails marked yesterday and more trails are being is and marked as we go. Scott Thomas (aka ol jeeps) had a stock Comanche pickup on 31's with decent mud tread and rode and mapped a bunch of the park and followed while we marked trails. So it can be done in a stocker rig. That being said, we need a lot of traffic on the trails to help wear the trails in. From mild to wild we need everyone come out and help break in the new Park and new trails.

Time is drawing near for some of the best trails and obstacles in North Carolina, and beyond. As most know, this is our annual
ride to raise toys and money and other gifts in the McDowell County Foster program. This year we are also taking on the task of helping with autism. The term Autism is pretty much a blanket diagnosis given to children and even some adults, who may be in many different levels of capability to cope with every day tasks and situations. Our goal is to help with this.
The Man and woman we lease from has a son who is autistic. It was at the request of our( Rock Corps 4X4 INC) landlords to do something for autism. We have had the property for nearly a year now. We have been working to cut trails, grooming a tent area and doing our best to make this property awesome. There is a lot there, to test any skill level or rig capability. And to be honest, there is much left still to be done. So in this case, it isn't what you see is what you get, it's more of a you'll be amazed at what's there, and you'll see where there is more to be had!
So, where else can you go, stay Friday to Sunday, Camp, ride, and have fun all weekend all for $10 a person, and $10 per rig, AND receive $10 off admission if you bring a toy.

Food will be available Saturday. BBQ, smoked onsite, Hotdogs and hamburgers.

Auction at 3:00, for some great deals.

Come share in the fun and help some folks at the same time.

Gate opens at 11:00 on Friday!

100% of funds raised go to the beneficiaries!
 
Today was THE day! What day? the day we finally completed the trail to loop the entire property that any 4WD should be able to make! There is another trail, but it's a little steep, and when wet would be an adventure for sure, so, enjoy the pics and look forward to seeing you all out next weekend. This road is above the slide.

Good old Sparky...not fun rolling every way you can going down but wonder what it's like going up???? lol I wonder who the 1st one to make it will be?? Remember helmet and harnesses!! That trail is a demon!! Yep the one I rolled on!! Maybe one day I'll tackle it!! We'll see!!
