It's the Carolina dirt Slingers' Bash at Antioch Speedway.

The event includes two days of 4 x 4 trail riding, a brand new 4 x 4 course with obstacles and hill climbs at the new off road park, a couple mud bog pits, stock car racing, live music and weekend camping free with a weekend pass.

All the details are posted at www.antiochspeedway.net

This may just be one of the last great weekend's to camp out with your friends and family.

This Carolina Dirt Slingers bash just got bigger!!!! Once again we have booked one of the hottest new Nashville groups to perform on Saturday night. Moccasin Creek will headline the show at 9pm. And to promote the show, we are giving away Moccasin Creek merchandise on our Carolina Dirt Slingers Bash Facebook pages each week. This week we are giving away an awesome Moccasin Creek banner which would look great hanging garage or in any room in the house. Their logo is awesome with an awesome snake wearing a cowboy hat and bandana on a rebel flag. Pictured below is a picture of the flag. Be sure to enter to win these merchandise contests on our Facebook page. Discount online ticket sales were hot over the weekend since the announcement of the addition of Moccasin Creek to the event schedule. The schedule has been updated and maps of the facility with the new 4 x 4 courses on it have been added to the Antioch Speedway website. It's going to be another great weekend at the speedway and off road park. For all you off roaders, please let us know what you are looking for in an off road park. We will be adding much more to our off road park over the winter for the 2014 season, but the new 4 x 4 course will be complete for this event.

To answer your question about what most of us are looking for in a off road park, if you are wanting to draw the attention to the majority of this crowd, you need to have several rock gardens of different sizes and approaches and some steep nasty hill climbs never hurt!! Sounds like the off road community is who you are trying to go after and more off roading trails and "courses" as you call them will deffinantly help but just remember the more hill climbs and rock gardens you have the more the off roaders will come! Would like to see some pics of what you have now as it has been since the late 90's since i have been to Antioch speedway and best i can remember it was just a small dirt track with some parking back then. Hope you can get a cool off road park going as well as we need more places to go in the area! Good luck and i will have to check this out if my schedule allows.

If it's been a while since you've been there it has changed alot, I think Danny Donnie and Jim have done some cool stuff out there. The biggest thing is we all need to support the smaller places tryin to do something like this, not wait and see if it gets better. You're right that some rocks and hill climbs would be great, but there is nothing wrong with playin in the mud, cruisin through the woods, camping and having a good time. I don't know if they are going to have it set up to use but there is a hill climb on the back side of the property that I tore the rear end out of the truck the first time I went up. I'm not sure I will be able to make it, but I would like to encourage everyone to try

The new 4WD obstacle course is really shaping up!!! The smaller obstacles are completed with railroad tie stair climbs, telephone pole obstacles, dirt whoops, a tire wall is going up Tuesday, then the bigger obstacles are going in later in the week. Also the hill climbs in the woods are going to be fun. 3 Fords tested it out this past Tuesday.......they had a ball!!! Here's a video from our Saturday night, Oct 5th Nashville headliner Moccasin Creek

I was at Antiochs last event it was a blast the people running it are some really good people and I will be going to this event. The more people that go the better they can make the park for us

Advance ticket sales have been HOT once again for the Carolina Dirt Slingers Bash!!! So far, people from 4 states have taken advantage of the advance discount sale online at www.antiochspeedway.net

The most popular package so far has been the All Access Family Weekend pass as it has the greatest value.

Keep in mind, this online sale expires this Monday, September 30th. Then all passes are regular price going into the BASH.

It's been very interesting to see where people chose to camp for this event, and most people have chosen to camp outside the pits. This leaves a lot of camping spaces still available in the infield as those camping spaces will be limited to 40. Only about half of the infield camping spaces have been have been reserved online. Don't worry though, there is plenty of camping all over the property. Many racers camped in other areas of the property at the June event and had a great time meeting people from all over. We had people from 10 different states share that eventful weekend with us.

All of the information, schedules, divisions and camping maps are available at www.antiochspeedway.net

I look forward to seeing everyone at the BASH!!!

Be sure to check out all of the latest on Facebook at Carolina Dirt Slingers Bash as well as pictures of the man made 4WD obstacle course and the all new natural 4 WD course.
