Offroad trailer build

Looks good so far.
It cleaned up very nice. :)

Now you just need to hurry up and finish it. Of course me saying something like that is kind of silly, whole pot/kettle/black thing you know?

:)

anywho, more seriously.

So how are you planning on doing the lid?
Like flip up on a hinge and hydraulics? Pick up and set off to the side? If it's flat, wouldn't it be better to put the bike "rack" up on top of the trailer instead of in back like that? Keeping the length down on the trailer? (also helping with screwy angles if you take it on a trail)

I have declared 2007 as "The Year of Finishing Projects". I am not going to start anything new until some projects get done with.

The lid will have a flange and sealing surface, kinda like a car trunk lid, but not really. Probably won't use cylinders, but will use a prop-up stick. The lid will be thinner stock to keep weight down, and I may bow it up a couple of inches down the center. Don't plan to take the bike rack off-road, that's more for runs to the beach place.
