I'm putting a 60 in the rear of a TJ. At the same time I'm pushing the rear back 4-5 inches. The diff is offset from center about 2.5". Will this be a problem with the TJ's short drive shaft? I'lll have about 4" of lift and a CV DS. Whatcha think?

You should be fine.

I have that much offset with my 8.8. It's fine with a CV d-shaft and the same amount of lift on short arms.

It will never work........ driveshaft will bind and break, vibrations will be terrible, everyone that looks under your jeep will laugh at you. :flipoff2:
Just roll that biatch under there and do the buzz buzz proper alignment is for girlymen.

Hey Jeff, what was that offset on the rear 44 you were running?
What was the horizontal angle between the transfer case and rear diff?

I was running the Dana model 18 transfer case so the front & rear out puts were in line. Thus the offset rear was straight.

I am swapping to a model 20 which has a center output shaft, for the d70 I am installing. I will bolt up to the AA adapter for the SM465 tranny.

When the drive shafts binds up and spits out a u-joint, I'm gonna park the Jeep in front of your shop and threaten to pop a cap in your ass when you ask me to move it. Sucka.:flipoff2:
1:57 AM, don't you ever sleep Chase?
