Dramamine works wonders for sensitive stomachs
I took something before we left don't remember what, its been 16/17 year since I last tried but it didnt work for me.Last summer when we went to Europe we crossed the English channel on our way to Normandy and the DR prescribed those patches that go behind your ear for motion sickness.I never had a problem but I wasn't on a fishin boat either.Ive give in to the notion that Im not meant to be on the water or in things that round and round real fast.

I'm glad I never get sea sick!

Pirates never get sick!

#1 rule on my boat. Don't get sick. The only time we head back in due to sickness is if the captain gets sick. Did I mention pirates don't get sick?

I've been of shore fishing probably...60 times?
About 5 trips ago I got sick. Probably a dozen different reasons, excuses..I dont know but I chummed for about 3 hours. Then I was fine, fished, drank beer and had a blast. However, the experience was bad enough that I dont ever want to go through it again. Got the behind the ear patches used them a few trips and while I never puked I just felt "bad" all day. I think @snappy said he'd never seen someone that green and not throw up. Last 2 trips out took dramamine for the first time and it worked well with no ill effects. Hopefully that continues.

I have a friend who was in his late 50's grew up in Edisto. Was in the Navy and then was a commercial fisherman and guide for 30 years. Lost his stomach. Now he pukes on a pontoon on the lake. Hes tried everything. Such a weird thigng.

I was busy last weekend but I'm down rob, it's been at least 16 or so years since I've been offshore but I loved it. That was back when getting out of Bogue inlet wasn't all that bad. My dad use to search for the big temperature breaks and we would always hook up with something. I'm fully licensed to fish where ever I want too.

I got sick once on a sailboat in Bimini... after a looooong night of drinking that ran into the next day. ;) Other than that, I've never really had a problem. There is always a first time for everything though.

Temp breaks and weed lines are the ticket.

Earlier this year I found a nice break with a lot of grass and debris down near NAECO. Some good fish there!

Dangit how in the world did i miss this thread? I would be down to mate for you and throw in on fuel/beer/bait anytime just let me know. I generally run down the charleston to fish with my best friend that lives there....but im a nc fishin kinda guy, grew up on it, and there is nothing like it.
