CT scans deliver far more radiation than previously believed and may contribute to 29,000 new cancers each year, along with 14,500 deaths.
So, I have to wonder, which was worse for me, the 4 CT scans, the 2 doses of Radioactive Iodine 132, or the 8 weeks of direct radiation, all with in a 9 month window in 2007.... If nothing else, the toilet should glow when I pee.....oh, and then there is the 2 CT scans I've had since, much fun !
 
I remember the post you had up back then..something like sunburn or worse. I was really feeling bad for ya. So, are things still ok for you?
 
Um, think of the worst sunburn you've ever had, magnify it a few times, then let it get infected, on your neck and back, something like that....

So far so good, had (yet another) CT scan a few weeks ago, all seems well, I'm feeling pretty good, still fat and happy.

I don't wish it on anyone, but if yer gonna get cancer, Thyroid cancer is the one to get....
