Last year I posted a thread that it was my goal not to raise prices for the whole year! I met that goal even towards the end it was getting a little tight on funds. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING that I buy to bring food and drinks has went up. I'm not complaining, I'm stating a fact. I would give anything not to do this but here goes. Hot Dogs are going to be $3.00, BBQ Sammich will be $4.50. Everything else will be the same, cold can drink $1.00, Gatorade $1.50 etc. Wife and I have talked about how to do it and this seems the easiest. I have asked some close friends and this also makes since to do it this way. As ALWAYS, Belinda and myself are grateful that you have trusted us to cater to the best customers we could ask for! We've made a lot of friends from URE and the events we have been invited to work at. We gave back what we could to the fund raisers we attended. Hope to see you this year, Thanks Terry& Belinda DBA Your Hot Dog Guy!:usa:

I will be glad to pay a little more for good food in the woods, Long as the dust and half true stories are still free!!

Terry,
Given the rising cost of everything totally understandable. Thanks for doing what you do!

Dude, raise the prices if you have to! Everyone knows you, everyone loves the work you do, and everyone would understand! No sense making it hard on yourself :p

Terry..I told you folks would be ok with a price increase. Especially in the woods.

Little example here...(dont get any ideas.lol) I paid 5 dollars for an icee for Maycee at Charlotte motor speedway...I paid 8 dollars for a super small cold crappy pizza there also. I think a small drink with waay to much ice, was 5 bucks too.

A warm hotdog and a cold drink for under 5 bucks in a parking lot in a national forest...come on man...thats a great deal. I'm just glad you'll be back at it!

Hell, I have paid $25 for a steak that I wouldn't have traded 1 of your hotdogs for. One of your $3 hot dogs on the side of the trail at lunch time ranks right up there with a $5 BJ in a topless bar paking lot at 2:15am. Just my opinion.

Im a cheapass, but I still always buy a few hotdogs... Don't see that changing anytime soon.

Terry sending you a PM. or rather in this new forum, I am going to start a conversation!

But as many have stated. Do what you have to do, so you can keep doing what you do!
With years of experience in the food industry, I have seen places raise their prices out of greed, and nessesity. This is nesesity.
You only have a couple options. Keep the quality and raise the prices. or keep the prices and lower the quality. IMHO, that's just a no brainer

Nope. That's it. Absolutely refuse to pay more than 2.95 for a hot dog.

:D

Hell, the fact that you are open, and share everything on here makes me wish I could get by to buy food from you more often.
(That and the sammich and dog are GREAT. Far better than the usual pbj I used to take to UNF)
and THANK YOU for NOT making the drinks 1.05 like work.

Old Buddy, I am very sorry to hear that you are raising the prices. That being said I will no longer accept any hot dogs or BBQ that you picked up off the ground or out of the trash can! In fact, from now on I may only accept "fresh" provisions that are personally served by Belinda. :flipoff2:

Guys, Belinda and I really appreciate you understanding. We never want to be known as the people that take your money and don't give a dam about the clubs and individuals we serve. Thanks again. We used to wheel till back surgery stopped us, we miss the campfire more than anything.
