Ok so seeing Shawns cleverly redone meme in the other thread, it got me to thinking. How much TV do you watch and when? What are you watching?
My TV watching is probably 12-15 hours a month. I do enjoy street outlaws, moonshiners and duck dynasty. We do not have cable or satellite but we do have Hulu and Netflix so I cant watch up to date episodes but I do watch whatever they release. My watching consists of rainy or late nights on weekends when I am not outside. I rarely watch anything after work during the week b/c I prefer to read.
What would ya'll consider a normal range?

Cooking shows or Ridiculousness on MTV when it's not a re-run to us to fall to sleep with and then wake up to the news to see who got shot in Durham the night before or where they found a body or...

College and pro Football when I can. Superbowl is a must. Discovery and history every rare now and then.

30 minutes a day most the time. Hour max.

set to record...Tosh.0, American Pickers, Cops, Gold Rush, Super cross or Moto-x depending season. Anything else is the little bit of time I get to channel surf weekly. I will record street outlaws and fast forward till the last 15 minutes of the show where they race, the rest I care nothing about.

My 8 year old loses focus when the TV is on, honestly she blanks out, can't function. I try to keep it off around her as much as possible but she will get up at 5am and get ready for school so she can watch it. My wife can't go to sleep without it on. I feel like when I die they will just watch TV non-stop. I watch no sports being a non athletic non coordinated fat white boy. If i had cable I would watch UFC I like the fights minus the drama. I get the majority of my news from here and find myself surfing forums on my phone constantly so that's probably just as bad as TV. This time of year it is dark when I get home so its difficult for me to get motivated to go into the shop. First world problems right?

1-2hrs per day for me. Its when the wife and I sit around and catch up on the day. Usually the background TV is Walking Dead, or some show that she wants to watch on Hulu/Netflix (Modern Family, Orange is the New Black, etc). About the only thing I seek out and watch is MotoGP and Supercross. That probably averages ~4hrs/month, so an hour a week. I guess all that totals up to about 50hrs/month.

Most of my screen time is on NC4x4 :stupid:

With the success of Street Outlaw and Moonshiners maybe we can get a show called Power line 4x4 to take off.

"Just because we're dumb asses and glorify breaking the law doesn't mean you should"

I might get a couple hours a week. Mainly TWD with my wife or Criminal Minds on netflix. We ditched Cable a few months ago. I am having Gold Rush withdrawls pretty bad. Dont have HULU yet.
