ok guys this is gonna take a little bit since i work all the time and i dont have all the cash to buy all the parts i need but this is a start.

now for what im working on. its a 1984 chevy k10 swb pickup. it has a 10 bolt front and 12 bolt 3.73 in the rear. th350 trans and np205 t-case. stock hieght with 32" swamper tsl's on factory ralley wheels.

my plans:
dana 44 8 lug front
corporate 14 bolt ff rear locked
4" suspension with springs all around, no lift blocks for the rear
th400 trans and np208 t-case. (already have brand new t-case out of a truck i bought a while back)
35x12.5016 m/t mtz's
winch bumper with smittybuilt 10,000lb winch.

im hoping to have this build done by the fall jamboree this year!
here are a few pics of it as it sits now!

should have some more pics soon, just diggin for a day off work to actually get something done!!!

well i ordered my lift, tires and winch today. should get started on the winch bumper within the next week or so. still looking for axles for the swap!!!

got the trans being built right now, as soon as i get it ill take some pics of the swap and maybe a peak of the winch bumper!!!!

going to pick my trans up tuesday and going to mate up the np208 to it. will take pics as soon as i get home with it and the tcase. iv also decided to hold off on the 8 lug axles until tax time so i can regear them and lock them. i got all the suspension parts to rebuild the front axle for now really cheap.

got the trans home from cooks racing, will get pics before the days out. iv have been sitting and pondering on this build alot lately and trying to figure out my needs and wants for this project to be able to go to the fall jamboree and hit more than one or 2 trails without having to turn around and go back. money is tight and so is time with me working 6 days a week 12 hour shifts. so iv come up with a new build plan, just so i know it will be ready for the fall jamboree. once the jamboree is over i will continue to build once i get back home. so this is what i have come up with and im open to suggestions!!!

Drive-train :
stock axles for now
the new th400/np208
new spicer u-joints
All new Moog Front end parts

Lift:
4" rough country w/rear springs

Wheels/Tires:
16x10 steel wheels
315x75r16 m/t MTZ's

thanks man!! i finally got my trans in and driving today. im very satisfied with the trans work just have to adjust the modulator a bit since its shifting mighty hard!! anyways heres a few pics!!!
