I found this pic while searching around the house tonight ....
this is my old 1969 Chevy K10 pickup from back in 1982.
it had a 292ci straight 6 with headers, 3 on the tree, 3.73 gears and a detroit locker out back. 4" Rough Country susp lift, and Cepek Q78-15 (36") Mud Country tires. I remember it had that closed-knuckle D44 front axle. I cant recall a single peice of plastic on that pickup.

I'm not the type to name my rigs, but the guys I used to ride with called it "Ol' Mable" Cheers old girl! :beer:

It was spent ...body rotted, engine smoking, rear-end issues, I wheeled it hard. Even broke the frame once sliding backwards off a steep, snotty peice of ledge into a tree. :lol:

I was headed to college with no place to keep it.
