just what the title says what do yall think my yjs worth thinking i may toss it up on craigslist for sale heres the link to the build thread i had started dont know if i will sell it but i just dont have the $$ to build it how i want to right now my 93 yj slow build
 
$5k would be a good starting point.
 
Anytime you sell anything the value is determined by what a potential buyer can get an equal product for.
This will vary based on timing and consumer intelligence. For example if another seller is extra motivated, you wouldnt want to sell against them or they will drive your value down. Or, if a given area is flooded with product you would be better off selling somewhere else. etc.

Based on the above on this site, I think your competition is:
1987 Jeep YJ SOA 8.8 4.10's

So if I were you and I wanted more than $5k I'd either wait until the above is sold OR I'd focus more of my efforts on trying to sell elsewhere.

yea i agree with all that but mine is auto trans and for the prson who wants a auto and not stick it will drive the price up cause 4.0L yj with auto trans is hard to come by they are alot rarer then ur stick yj

and I'm sure there is someone out there that specifically wants an auto YJ.
 
I think the other problem you are going to run into is that alot of the people on here looking to buy a jeep, want it to wheel and maybe DD. Your jeep is nice but appears to have a stock driveline, so I would just be buying a pretty jeep to go to the mall and food lion. And if you want more then 5k for this jeep, we'll there are plenty of jeeps out there to fit the bill. Now if you said you had a 8.8 with posi in the rear and cromos and a locker up front all geared 4:10 with a SYE kit installed, now you have a jeep that looks great at the mall and will do great on the trail and is worth the money.
 
well if it don't pull money wise what i want it will stay with me i posted it for $6k $5k would probley be my rock bottom price i would take. kinda hard to let go as this jeep is 1 of the nicest jeeps i have owned but i need the money
 
I say it's worth $3500 plus another $1k for the top and hard doors, that aren't complete. No spare tire and bone stock. $4500 tops. I think it would sell at $3800ish

Look at what you can get for 5500. That's not the same jeep that you have. Those can be had with 8.8s and other things that make them bring that price.
