yea..brings back memories of riding home on saturday night from runnin dogs all day chootin deer....10,11,12 years old...riding shotty in daddys 74 chevy luv... could pick up channel 6 out of wilmington at the end of the fm dial and if we were late enough leaving the woods to come home, we'd listen to CHiPs but I can't remember what came on after that because I would usually fall asleep at some point during the 2 hour drive home.

Yep, in NC they are specifically a Concealed Handgun Permit. They do not explicitly permit carrying of other weapons concealed.

in a national forest i think there are some restrictions on WHAT you can carry, but you can carry.

I believe it must be .22 cal and under 6 inch barrel.
