Ok, for those of you who remember, I had asked on opinions about insurance inventory documentation. Well, it is now official, bonded and insured!! Here are the basics:
EPSI insurance documentation will come to your home/business and create a comprehensive inventory list and pictures of your belongings and structures, as well as all landscaping. The information will then be put onto a cd and given to you for safe keeping, or you can elect to have the information double secured off site for a yearly fee so you can readily retrieve the information in the event of a catastrophe.
The basic service is $350 for the inventory (up to 3 hrs) and $50 a year which includes 1 yearly update of information and secure off site storage.

It's a great service. In about 3 hrs we come to your home, do a complete inventory of your possessions with model #'s and seriel #'s as well as documenting landscaping and then supply you with a positive, secure copy for you to have in the case of a disaster. How many of you have ever dealt with the insurance company and they have only given a % of what your stuff was worth. Or, you realize that you forgot about something but it is too late because you have already settled. Had you had proof...

Yup had one do about 200k worh of damage from buring...what a pain in the ass.
Great idea for a business...after having one burn I already did an inventory on most everything I've got now.
 
^^How much help would it have been to have a total inventory available that was just a phone call away? Would it have been worth the investment?
