Outside is coming along nicely got all the trees I didn't want to drop myself took out today

Day one to now still need to finish burning this pile of trees and brush and one more small pile around the corner of the building. Tear down the single while plant grass seed and gravel the driveway but the outside has come along way. Only thing left to do inside is install the air compressor and run lines and add another 220 plug for a welder at the front.

Today progress so far. Cut down some trees on back side of shop and cleaned that area up. Also found a trailer to threw all the scrap I came across on it as I was going. Most of these areas you couldn’t walk though Friday afternoon.

I now have two scrap piles this size plus the trailer full of scrap and two other small trailers, I haven’t even started on the inside.

Also free to a good home 60ish ft single wide packed full of push mowers.

it was here with the rest of the stuff. its in pretty bad shape. figured id get it tore up when someone takes down the single wide

Shop light number 2 installed let's see how long this one last.

Also finished redoing the compressor I found in the building with a new 230v motor and all new parts except the tank and the air head that from what I can tell Is from the 50s. Installed a 1/2" air shop kit from Northern tool. Well worth the 100 bucks for the easy fast install. Holding up well to the 170lbs the compressor is set to. Added two more lights inside to get all the way to the back of the shop. Tried to chase down the leaks and released I'm going to have to coat the whole outside to take care of all of them. But after that the shop should be set for a while.

Well the single wide is gone..... almost just have to haul the metal and burn the wood that's still there most had about rotted away and no insulation in it

Everything pretty well cleaned up. Have a huge burn pile to lite tomorrow if it's not to windy and it will burn. Need to dress everything up and sow some grass this week. With the trailer gone It feels like you doubled the space behind the shop now.

It's time for an update... and possibly a rename of the thread
We got some water in the shop during the hurricane last year. But its also the best pictures I got of the yard pretty much all cleaned up.

Just some mud in the shop and a little fence damage.

So I started phase 2 "the house" we started demo on Easter weekend.
Took it down to the studs and started over pretty much. House didn't have good wiring, hvac or insulation. So we started with that. And lofting all the ceilings.

1st weekend we got it demo'd

Started framing and moving the ceilings. Also re-leveled the floors got about 2.5" out of the sag. It's less than a 1/2" through the whole house. I'll call that a win for a house from the late 40s.

Went ahead and replaced all the windows and doors while we were at it.

All new plumbing, hvac, electrical went in and then I got it spray foamed.
Got sheetrock started on Sunday.

Was hoping to be back in the house by end of July but looks like im going to be a couple weeks behind.

All the flooring, trim, doors and cabinets are in the shop ready to roll as soon as sheetrock is done.
