I am in the process of using the spray on plastic coating stuff on my trucks aluminum wheels so in the end they will be black. So what are your opinions on the center caps, they are currently shiny chrome, leave them alone or spray them to match the wheels? If it matters the lug nuts are also chrome, and i dont plan to spray them.

No black wheels of any kind,If I wanted black wheels Id buy the cheapest cheap shit brake pads available.I know that's not the trend and I'm old but you ask.:D

Atleast my wheels are Eagle brand and not Rockstar

The best part about this spray on crap is if I dont like it, I can peel it off and have aluminum wheels back

I just don't run the caps with mine....or I may not have any to put on. I can't remember o_O

IMO don't bother w/ the caps. Touch up the outer axle hubs, and get some new black lugnuts.

There is an exception, on my older Toyota I have the kind of centers that push in from behind covering the hub, I've found that it makes mounting the tire a lot easier to first put the center onto the hub, then use that as a guide to slide the wheel center over it. But that's a practicality thing, I don't like the way it looks.

I voted to leave them chrome, but it depends on the wheel and the jeep. I think black wheels on black tires with dark wheelwells is already too much of a big dark missing area visually.

I decided to leave the center caps and lug nuts chrome

That don't look too bad... I'm not a fan of the back wheel trend either but that's not bad

Thanks, it has turned out better than I thought, and good thing is it will peel right off if I change my mind

Very observant! These are re-treads from Treadwright, nitto shell with knock off KO tread pattern.
O ok well they look good to me let me know how the do for you wheels look good to.

Wanna come do my tow rig? I'm too lazy to polish the aluminum so painting them is the next thing to do.

I have had the tires for at least five years and the tires probably have 10k on them (the truck is not my DD) and they tires are just fine, except i dont like the KO design... they just dont clean out and I am spinning in wet grass like I am stuck.

I was too lazy to polish as well! This plastic spray is easy.
