My little sister is looking at buying a 2002 Volvo S60. I have never messed with one, or even driven one before. The one she is looking at has 120k miles on it right now. Is there anything that I need to be on the lookout for? Is this even a reliable car? Any advice would be great. Thanks

Parts are pricey if it does need repairs..

THIS IS MY OPINION (i openly admit to being biased)

run, while you can. if you will end up doing any repairs you will hate them also.
if you have to do any repairs, it will get expensive.
they are very safe cars but that's all i can say positive about them.
some people love them, but having to work on them gives me great displeasure.

Thanks guys for the info. She does not have a lot of money if something did come up that was a costly repair and she just told me it has a salvaged title

My mom has a 2007 S60. She has had a LOT of electrical related issues with the car, as well as check engine lights and airbag lights that the dealer has given up on trying to fix. There is ZERO legroom for normal sized humans in the rear of the car. Hers is the turbo and is quite zippy but requires premium fuel. I have had to work on one or two things and parts are expensive, as noted above.
