opinions on tj tire carriers

I stepped up to 33's on my 99 tj don't really plan on going any larger, so whats a good option for a tire carrier? I,m also open to good used ones or if someone in the asheville area builds them? thanks Tom
 
I would get in touch with chris at Buckeye performance and talk to him about one, his are much nicer than most of the catalog ones. Novacayne hear on the forum. Number is in my sig
 
Keep the stock one on the tailgate and just remove the 3rd brakelight. I carried a 35" spare for years, and I think I even carried a 36" Irok on it for a while. It really depends on the jeep though. A friend of mine's tailgate was sagging and wouldn't open with a 31 on it, mine always was fine even with the big heavy tires.
