Ok, I've been thinking about building a buggy for a while now but didn't want to start from scratch, and wanted to start with a frame and go from there. So my uncle gave me a fram from a nissan 2 wheel drive, and my question is would this be a good starting point or a piece of :poop:. Or should I start with the half ton chevy I have. I don't know what to do . Thanks, Norman.

I guess I can't really offer you much advise since I have no experience building buggies...but my gut instinct is that if you have to ask if the frame is good enough to start, you're probably a little out of your league building a vehicle that should protect your life in the event of a rollover off road.

Maybe you have some experienced help available?

You would be far far better off starting with a few pieces of tubing than with a 2wd nissan frame. What would be the point? But as was said, you might be better off looking for at least a used bare tube chassis. They can be had for cheap and would be a much better starting point.
