I use the advance ones, probably the same thing? One in my wife's yukon dropped a cell a couple weeks ago at 2 years but was replaced at no cost. One in my Jeep has been no problem.

The original was labeled autocraft I think, new one is diehard, looks exactly the same.

I was told by the store manager, that optima makes advance brand AGM batteries. I still bought the optima as it was only $5 more than advance brand.

I buy them online for pick up in store and you get 20-25% off. I could be wrong but don't think the discount codes are useable for Optima.

Edit: It did let me enter the code for the Optima so they are basically the same price. I haven't heard good things about Optima for a while now, and they're not stocked in the quantity as the store brand batteries. If you need a replacement, the store brand will almost always be available.

A couple years ago now I switched to Duracell AGMs, as they're manufactured by Deka, East Penn Manufacturing in the US of A, and Johnson Controls, the fine company that seems to destroy every good battery company they buy, doesn't have any ownership in the company...

I buy them from Batteries +, cuz there is pretty much always a promo code available for them.

Running them as both House batteries and start batteries in my Ambulance/RV, they've been good so far...

I am currently using the Oreilly AGM battery. I originally had to replace it under warranty since I let it go dead so often it started to not hold a charge (probably my fault). Since then, I keep it on a trickle charger when I'm not driving my jeep, and it has been fine for the past 3 years. Still have it in the jeep so I hope it last for more years to come.

I've bought the Oreilly AGM a few times. My Jeep, My F150 and my TDI all have them. Been a good battery for me. I'll never buy an Optima again.

The O'Reilly "Super Start" AGM battery is made by East Penn, same as the Deka/Duracell/NAPA AGM batteries, and has a similar exterior appearance. It's likely the same thing, although the data I have shows a slightly different CCA number. The reserve capacity is the same at 120 mins.

The Northstar (x2Power) and Enersys (Odyssey) batteries have longer reserve capacities (at about 135) and provide about 68 Ah at the 20A rate (vs 55 for Deka, 50 for Optima, and 60 for the Duralast/Autocraft), so definitely a "better" battery on the specs.

Johnson Controls makes the Autozone and Advance Auto house brand AGMs. Reserve capacity on these is 115 mins.
